Physiotherapy in Greater Kailash-1Balm is not a treatment. Proper exercise is.

Physiotherapy at VinayakM treats the pain first, then rebuilds the strength and movement that keep it from coming back. From recovery after surgery to back and neck pain that will not settle, every session is hands-on and guided, never left to machines.

What we help with

Pain, stiffness and recovery that has stalled.

The problems we see most often. If yours is not listed, call and ask; we will tell you honestly whether physiotherapy is the right place to start.

Recovery after surgery

Rehabilitation after joint replacement, fracture surgery and other orthopaedic operations, in stages that follow your surgeon’s precautions.

Knee and joint pain

Painful, stiff knees and hips, including arthritis: easing the pain and building the strength that supports the joint.

Back and neck pain

Recurring or long-standing pain, including problems made worse by desk work and posture.

Frozen shoulder

Restoring the shoulder’s range of movement step by step, without forcing it.

Tailbone pain

Pain on sitting, treated with posture work, soft-tissue techniques and practical seating advice.

Sports injuries and sprains

Ankle, knee and muscle injuries, with a planned, graded return to your sport.

Elbow injuries

Tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow and other overuse problems of the arm and wrist.

Pain relief with TENS and IFT

Electrotherapy where it genuinely helps with pain, always alongside exercise, never instead of it.

Your first appointment

What happens when you come in.

Sessions are at least 60 minutes, so there is time to understand the problem properly before treatment begins.

  • 01

    We listen

What happened, what has been tried already, and what you need to get back to: the stairs, the commute, the game.

  • 02

    We examine

How you move, where the strength and flexibility are missing, and which everyday movements bring the pain on.

  • 03

    We explain

What we found, in plain language, and the goals we agree together, with a sense of how long it should take.

  • 04

    We start

Your first treatment, and a small set of exercises to do at home, shown and checked before you leave.

How care works here

Relief first. Then strength that lasts.

Relief first

Hands-on treatment, taping, and TENS or IFT where they help, so that moving becomes possible again.

Then guided exercise

A programme that is supervised and progressed as you get stronger, so each exercise is done correctly and at the right load.

Measured by what you can do

Progress is judged by function: walking further, sitting through the working day, climbing stairs, returning to sport. The plan is reviewed and adjusted as you go.

If your recovery needs a surgeon’s opinion, an orthopaedic assessment is available at the clinic by appointment with our visiting orthopaedic surgeon, and the findings come straight back into your physiotherapy plan.

Who you will see

Dr Shubham

Physiotherapist

  • MPTh
  • BPTh

Dr Shubham is VinayakM’s physiotherapist, with a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy. Dr Shubham carries out both the assessment and the treatment, from the first examination to the day you no longer need to come.

The work follows the approach the clinic is built on: relief first, with hands-on treatment and pain-relief modalities where they help, then a graded exercise programme that is supervised in the clinic and carried on at home.

Questions

Before you book.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

No. You can book directly. If you have reports, scans, discharge papers or a surgeon’s notes, please bring them.

How long is a session?

At least 60 minutes. Treatment is not rushed, and exercises are taught and checked, not handed over on a sheet.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the problem and on your goals. After the first assessment we tell you what we expect, and we review progress as we go.

What should I wear or bring?

Comfortable clothes that let us see and move the area being treated, plus any reports, scans or discharge papers.

Can you work with my surgeon after an operation?

Yes. We follow your surgeon’s protocol and precautions, and keep them informed where you would like us to.
