What we help with
The areas we work on most often. Bring your reports if you have them; we will read them with you.
Steady, sustainable change built from the meals you already eat, not from restriction you cannot keep up.
Meal timing, portions and food choices that help keep sugar steadier through the day.
Everyday changes to fats, fibre and cooking that support heart health.
Finding the foods and habits behind gut discomfort, and what to eat instead.
Enough protein from Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, for strength and ageing well.
Looking at iron, meals, timing and hydration when you are tired all the time.
Nutrition for healing, bone strength and getting your strength back.
A better pattern for the whole family, festivals and celebrations included.
Your first appointment
Sessions are at least 60 minutes, so there is time to understand the problem properly before treatment begins.
What you eat on a normal day, your routine, your preferences, and what the household cooks.
Weight and other measurements, and any blood reports you bring, read together.
Changes built from foods you already eat, written down clearly, with swaps rather than bans.
Regular reviews where the plan is adjusted to what is working in real life.
How care works here
Changes start with real meals. If a supplement might help, we explain why and discuss it with you; it is never a substitute for food.
Plans that work for the whole table, so you are not cooking two meals or eating alone.
Weight, reports and how you feel are tracked over time, and the plan changes with you.
Nutrition often works best alongside the rest of your care: physiotherapy for recovery and strength, and counselling when stress and eating are tangled together. Karishma’s articles on food and health are in our nutrition library.

Who you will see
Dietitian and nutritionist
Karishma Saxena is VinayakM’s dietitian, with a Master’s degree in dietetics. The work is food-first and practical: weight, blood sugar, cholesterol, gut comfort, bone strength and everyday energy, planned around what your household actually eats.
Most families have one kitchen serving several sets of needs: a parent watching sugar, a teenager training, a grandparent who needs more protein. Karishma plans for that table, not for one person in isolation.
